i deheaded a bunny and liked it

I've got some catching up to do. I've been busy stuffing animals with other animals, going to Paris trade shows, and watching the sun rise at Trocadéro... I know, rough life right?

Let's start with my favorite, the food.

The single greatest canned item... EVER.

Stuffed veal with turned carrots
Terrine... the picture says it all.

Chicken stuffed with more chicken

My favorite cup in France!
Blueberries

Pots du Cremé
My plated Bunny
Bunny Rabbit

Do you wish those weren't pictures and instead actual food sitting in front of you? Me too. Let's talk about the canned Duck fat. Uh, brilliant! I wanna use it to cook everything instead of butter or oil. We had some fun in class stuffing animals with other animals for a good three days. I really wanted to love it.. along with the Duck Terrine, but I just couldn't. So, moving on from those pictures to the delicious American breakfast Luigi and I made the morning after we saw the sunrise at Trocadéro. As we were riding the metro home he learns over to me and asks me, "Hey, do you wanna get McDonald's pancakes?" I should have beat him. He's a pastry Chef in the making and wants to go get McDonald's pancakes in Paris. He was very happy with me after I forced him to cook the real thing. They were as delicious as they look. And the fluffy scrambled eggs are courtesy of moi. We feasted. Our french grandmother was not very happy with us though because we made the kitchen smell like oil... oops. That same day I proceeded to go to school and behead a small rabbit. It was really cool. We took the rabbit apart and seared it, then cooked it in a mustard sauce and served it with garlic fried potatoes. I'm not gonna lie... the potatoes were my favorite part but my rabbit was pretty great too. Chef agreed.

Do I seem really trendy with these Parisian trade show pictures? It's because I am. Ali's friend from home works for Mondani and got us into this. There were huge convention centers just full of every fashionable item you could think of. It was like a mini trendy shopping mall where you couldn't buy anything. It was really fun and they served unlimited champagne starting at 5pm... of course we took advantage.

Luigi convinced me one morning to wake up extra early when I didn't have class to see the sunrise at Trocadéro. The view was beautiful and I got some great pictures but... we saw no sun. Not very surprising for Paris this time of year.

Meet my new friends. We like to have a good time.

Cooking is like love.
It should be entered into
with abandon or not at all.
